The Four Simple Steps of How to Practice Ho’oponopono...
The story of Ho'oponopona self healing caught everyone's attention when Hawaiian therapist cured an entire ward of criminally insane patients, without ever meeting any of them or spending a moment in the same room? It’s not a joke. The therapist was Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, which was interviewed explaining what he did - which he claimed nothing, when asked what he did.
What he did was simply reviewed each of the patients’ files, and then he healed them by healing his own mind - letting go of his "conditioned" thinking (he calls data in his mind) about those who were in the hospital. This willingness to see a 'new truth' by letting go or forgiving his truth, a shift in perception happened, which is the miracle. Through this practice, he willingnessly allows the 'old data' to be removed so that the 'new divine data has a place to play in his experience'. It's really that simple.
How did he do this?
He looked at each person's file and said the following, acknowledging the truth of what he was seeing from his point of view or conditioned reality.
What happened, as ACIM and Perfection Healing teaches, is that our "conditioned thinking" blocks the presents and your experience of "Unconditional Love"... which is the natural default of the Divine happening all around you. So simply what Ho'oponopono is is a way of practicing the Holy Instant. It's a way of letting go of the blocks to love's presence, which is our natural birthright to experience.
So how can you use this process to heal yourself and have it heal others? Simply practice it with everything thing you see and find yourself thinking about-- for as we think we create for in reality, there in nothing happen 'out there'... it is all happening 'in our minds'. So as we change our minds, we change our reality. Here are the steps for doing this.
Step 1: We Say: I’M SORRY
This first step acknowledges we have a misperception that we are willing to release about this person (including ourselves), places (including situations) or thing (everything). This the step we too take responsiblity for what we have created in our experience - and now, reconizing it was a mistake, we are asking for it to be forgiven.
Step 2. We Say: "PLEASE FORGIVE ME"
This is the step where we own "the data" or "preception" we have made our living reality in our minds-- and then ask that it be forgiven. It is a step that acknowledges to that we are connected to everything and so in fact have complete say in calling it reality - supporting it being real - being that in fact we are co-creative Beings.
Step 3: We say "THANK YOU"
Here, we simply step into a new reality, acknowledging it and being grateful we have been given a way to release this experience that was in contrast to what we really desire. However it best feels to really connect to it is all that matters, for the key is staying with the shift, the desire, and pure positive energy that is the movement of Grace now creating a new experience.
Step 4: We say "I LOVE YOU"
This can also be your step 1 if you like. Say I LOVE YOU. Say it to your mind, body, Spirit or the Oneness of It All. Say it to God - the universe, or whatever or however you feel so moved to do it. Say it over and over... doing your best to connect to the feeling of it... If you presist, you will feel it and it will feel you - and begin to bring in a new experience.
It's that simple and will work if you work it! But you've got to work it!
